Velvet-fronted Nuthatch (Sitta frontalis)
…is a small species of nuthatch found throughout India, Pakistan and parts of China and Indonesia. Like most nuthatches this species has the ability to climb both up and down trees. They are often found patrolling trees for small invertebrates like insects and spiders to snack on. When they are not out foraging they can be found nesting in holes in trees which are lined with moss/feathers and other soft materials.
